THE ART OF LIVING
FORMENTERA
This project focuses on valuing things made by hand, the slow creative processes of artists, artisans and craftsmen who work with patience, dedication, art and love, in Formentera. We live in a world where fast and profitable things are gradually extinguishing traditions, trades and small entrepreneurs. This project wants to tell, share and document through images the life and daily life of the workshops and their protagonists.

Specific objectives
Promote manual arts and awaken a genuine interest in the production of artists and craftsmen.
Promote a relationship between spectators and creative production in the workshops of artists and craftsmen.
Slow down and put light on slow achievements, humanizing production and life.
Create historical photographic archives of existing artistic and artisan trades in current Formentera.
Project proposal
1. Photography exhibitions.
2. Edition of a photography book. / Summer 2024.
3. Guided tours to the artists workshops.
4. Talks with guests speakers at the schools.

“The Art of Living”
EXHIBITIONS
The first exhibition of “The Art of Living” took place in the Exhibition Hall of the “Old Town Hall”, during September 2022, and the second took place at the “Gabrielet Antoni Tur Center”, in September 2023, both in San Francisco, Formentera, Spain.
The photographs and the theme have aroused genuine interest in society, both residents and tourists have received the exhibition with deep satisfaction.
